Ravninska etapa, ki povezuje Begunje, vas pod Karavankami, Radovljico, kulturno prestolnico Julijskih Alp, in Bled, enega najbolj prepoznavnih krajev na vzhodnem vstopu v Julijske Alpe. Etapa poteka od Begunj skozi Radovljico vse do obrežja Blejskega jezera.

Etapa se začne v Begunjah, pred turistično-informacijskim centrom, oziroma pred muzejem Slavka Avsenika, ki je najbolj prepoznaven slovenski skladatelj narodno-zabavne glasbe. Gostišče in muzej Avsenik skupaj s tovarno Elan, kjer izdelujejo svetovno znane smuči ter plovila, postavljata Begunje na zemljevid Slovenije. Pot nas vodi izpod Karavank prek tako imenovane Dežele skozi Dvorsko vas, Gorico, Vrbnje do Radovljice. Radovljica je znano kulturno središče, imenovano tudi Linhartovo mesto, ki ga zaznamujejo tudi tradicija izdelovanja lectovih src in čebelarstvo, v zadnjih letih pa je prepoznana po festivalu čokolade. Pot vodi dalje ob Savi do Šobca, znanega avtokampa v bližini sotočja Save Bohinjke in Save Dolinke.

Nadaljujemo na Bled do Jezerske promenade na vzhodni obali Blejskega jezera, kjer se etapa zaključi. Bled je ena od glavnih slovenskih in svetovno poznanih turističnih točk, z otokom in cerkvico sredi jezera, mogočnim gradom tik nad jezerom ter hribom Straža na nasprotni strani, ki poleti in pozimi ponuja obilo možnosti za oglede, sprehode in rekreacijo.

Eine ebene Etappe verbindet Begunje, den Dorf unter Karawanken, Radovljica, das Kulturzentrum der Julischen Alpen und Bled, einen der erkenntlichsten Orte am östlichen Rand von Julischen Alpen. Die Etappe verläuft von Begunje, durch Radovljica bis zum Ufer von Bleder See.

Die Etappe fängt in Begunje an, vor dem Touristischen Informationszentrum, beziehungsweise dem Museum von Slavko Avsenik, dem bekannten Komponist der slowenischen Oberkrainer-Musik. Das Gasthaus und das Museum Avsenik sind zusammen mit der Elan Fabrik, wo die weltbekannten Ski und Wasserfahrzeuge Elan hergestellt werden, stellen Begunje auf die Karte von Slowenien. Der Weg führt unter Karawanken hervor über das so genannte Dežela (das Land) durch Dvorska vas, Vrbnje nach Radovljica. Radovljica ist ein bekanntes Kulturzentrum – auch die Linhart Stadt genannt, das auch nach Lebkuchen-Tradition und Bienenzucht bekannt ist, in den letzten Jahren auch nach dem Schokoladenfestival. Der Weg führt weiter am Sava bis zum bekannten Campingplatz Šobec in der Nähe des Zusammenflusses Sava Bohinjka und Sava Dolinka.

 Sie gehen weiter nach Bled bis Seepromenade am Ostufer von Bleder See, wo die Etappe endet. Bled ist einer der bedeutendsten slowenischen und weltweit bekannten touristischen Punkten, mit der Insel und der Kirche mitten im See, der mächtigen Burg unmittelbar über dem See und der Erhöhung Straža an der gegenüberliegenden Seite, die im Sommer und im Winter viele Möglichkeiten für Besichtigungen, Spaziergänge und Erholung bietet.

A flat stage that connects Begunje, a village below the Karavanke mountains, Radovljica, the cultural capital of the Julian Alps, and Bled as one of the most recognised places at the eastern entry area to the Julian Alps. The stage runs from Begunje to Radovljica and to the shore of Lake Bled.

The stage starts in Begunje, in front of the Tourist Information Centre or in front of the Slavko Avsenik Museum, which is dedicated to the most renowned Slovenian composer of national folk music. Besides the Elan factory, where the famous Elan skis and boats are made, the Avsenik Inn and Museum are the basic sites that you just have to see. The trail runs from below the Karavanke mountain range, via the so-called Dežela (Land) to Dvorska vas, Gorica, Vrbnje to Radovljica. The old town centre of Radovljica is one of the most beautiful in Slovenia; the heritage of beekeeping, iron forging and national folk music can be felt all around. For some time, it has been well-known for the Radovljica Chocolate Festival. The stage continues upstream along the Sava River to the famous Šobec Campsite near the confluence of the Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinka Rivers.

Continue to Bled and the Lakeside Promenade on the eastern shore of Lake Bled, where the stage ends. Bled is one of the main renowned tourist sites in Slovenia and the world with the island and church in the middle of the lake, the mighty castle just above the lake, and Straža Hill on the opposite side, which in summer and winter offers many options for views, walks and other sports activities.
