Etapa se začne v železarskem mestu Jesenice, preko Dobravškega polja in čez Savo Dolinko pripelje v vasi pod Stolom, katerih ponudba temelji predvsem na kulturnih in čebelarskih izdelkih, konča pa se v Begunjah.

Z železniške postaje na Jesenicah nas pot vodi skozi novejši in starejši del mesta, čez Staro Savo, pa spet po sončni strani mesta na vzhod proti Slovenskemu Javorniku, kjer gremo čez Savo Dolinko na njen desni breg. Tu nas spremlja povsem drugačna slika: travniki, pašniki, še vedno zelo kmečka vas Blejska Dobrava ter izjemno lepo Dobravško polje. Pot pelje tudi čez Kavčke, sedaj pregrajene z visokim betonskim jezom hidroelektrarne Moste.

 Pot se nadaljuje skozi vasi pod Stolom od Žirovnice do Rodin, ki jih povezuje kulturna dediščina oziroma rojstni kraji znamenitih slovenskih pisateljev in pesnikov (Čop, Prešeren, Finžgar, Jalen), območje pa je poznano tudi po začetnikih čebelarstva (Janšev čebelnjak). Iz vasi Smokuč pod vznožjem sončnih Karavank se pot vzpne na Sankaško kočo ter bližnjo izjemno razgledno točko Sv. Peter nad Begunjami, s katere se vidi vsa Zgornjesavska dolina, Blejsko jezero in Julijske Alpe s Triglavom.

Tam stoji cerkev sv. Petra. Tudi jadralni padalci imajo blizu cerkve svoje vzletišče. Sledi spust po Petrovi poti do Begunj in zaključek etape v središču naselja, ki slovi po znamenitem Slavku Avseniku – največjemu slovenskemu skladatelju narodno-zabavne glasbe. V Begunjah stoji tudi tovarna Elan, ki je bila nekdaj sinonim za kakovostne smuči, danes pa v delih tovarne izdelujejo tudi plovila in dele za športna letala.

The stage starts in the ironworks city of Jesenice, over Dobraško polje and over the Sava Dolinka River to the villages beneath Stol, where the attractions are mostly based on culture and beekeeping products. The stage ends in Begunje.

Start at the railway station in Jesenice and continue through the newer and older parts of the city, through Stara Sava and on the sunny side of the city towards east to Slovenski Javornik, where you cross the Sava Dolinka River and come to its right bank. This part of the trail is distinguished by a completely different landscape: meadows and grassland as well as the exceptionally beautiful Dobravško polje field. The trail also runs over the of area Kavčki, which is now built by the high concrete dam of Moste hydro power plant.

 The trail continues through the villages beneath Stol, from Žirovnica to Rodine, which are connected by cultural heritage and the birthplaces of famous Slovenian writers and poets (Prešeren, Finžgar, Jalen), the area is well known for beekeeping beginners (Janša's beehive). At the foothills of the sunny Karavanke mountain range, we continue from Rodine to a steep climb to Sankaška koča alpine hut and to the near panoramic point St Peter above Begunje, which offers a view of the entire Upper Sava River Valley, Lake Bled and the Julian Alps with Triglav.

The Church of St Peter is located there. A paragliders' take-off point is close by. Descend along Peter's Trail to Begunje and end the stage in the centre of the village that is known for the famous Slavko Avsenik – the greatest Slovenian national folk musician and composer. The Elan factory, which in the past was  a renowned name for quality skis and is now the place where vessels and parts for sport airplanes are built, is also located in Begunje.

Die Etappe beginnt in der Eisenindustrie-Stadt Jesenice, führt Sie über Dobravško polje und über Sava Dolinka in die Dörfer unter Stol, wo der Angebot vor allem auf Kultur- und Bienenzuchtprodukten basiert, und endet dann in Begunje.

Vom Bahnhof in Jesenice führt Sie der Weg durch den neueren und älteren Stadtteil, über Stara Sava und wieder auf der sonnigen Seite der Stadt nach Slovenski Javornik, wo Sie über Sava Dolinka auf das rechte Ufer gehen. Hier begleitet Sie ein ganz anderes Bild: Wiesen, Weiden, immer noch sehr landwirtschaftliches Dorf Blejska Dobrava und die sehr schöne Ebene Dobravško polje. Der Weg führt auch über Kavčke, wo jetzt ein hoher Staudamm des Wasserkraftwerks Moste steht.

Der Weg führt weiter durch die Dörfer unter Stol, von Žirovnica bis Rodine, die vom Kulturerbe verbunden werden, denn dort sind Geburtsorte bekannter slowenischer Schriftsteller und Dichter (Prešeren, Finžgar, Jalen). Diese Gegend ist aber auch für die Anfänger der Bienenhaltung bekannt (Das Bienenhaus von Janša). Aus dem Dorf Rodine steigt der Weg unter die Hänge von Karawanken steil bis zu Sankaška koča Hütte und zum nahe gelegenen Aussichtupunkt Hl. Peter über Begunje, von wo Sie das ganze Obersavatal, den Bleder See und die Julischen Alpen mit Triglav sehen können. Dort steht die Kirche des Hl. Peters.

In der Nähe der Kirche ist auch eine Startbahn für Gleitschirmflieger. Es folgt der Abstieg auf dem Peterweg nach Begunje und die Etappe endet im Zentrum der Siedlung, die für ihren ehemaligen Einwohner berühmt ist – Slavko Avsenik ist der größte slowenische Komponist der Oberkrainer-Musik. In Begunje steht auch die Elan Fabrik, die einst ein Synonym für hochwertige Ski war, heutzutage werden in einigen Teilen aber auch Wasserfahrzeuge und Teile von Sportflugzeugen hergestellt.
