Opis poti po korakih

Etapa sledi lokalni cesti na Dovje in od tam po gozdni cesti do Plavškega rovta. Nadaljuje se po označeni lokalni pešpoti in prav tako posebej označeni tematski Stari rudni poti na Jesenice.

Etapo začnemo pri Slovenskem planinskem muzeju v Mojstrani. Od tod nadaljujemo po glavni cesti skozi Mojstrano, ignoriramo oznako, ki nakazuje pešpot v Dovje. Prečimo Savo Dolinko in se strmo vzpnemo do glavne prometnice, jo prečimo in nadaljujemo v Dovje. Skozi vas nadaljujemo po glavni cesti, držimo se desno navzgor. Kmalu z asfalta preidemo na makadam.

Na tej poti ostanemo vse do vasi Plavški Rovt, kjer je pot ponovno asfaltirana. Sredi vasi nas smerokaz in rumene oznake po kolovozu odvedejo proti Planini pod Golico. Pot vodi čez travnike, ki so spomladi polni narcis, pod plezališčem in mimo samotnih kmetij v zaselek Prihodi.

Nadaljujemo po asfaltirani cesti rahlo navzgor na glavno cesto Planina pod Golico–Jesenice in kratek čas hodimo po njej. Dalje zavijemo levo na vzhod med hišami na tematsko Staro rudno pot, po kateri se spustimo v Jesenice in gremo v mestu do železniške postaje. Jesenice so staro železarsko mesto, kjer lahko opazujemo sledi začetkov železarske zgodovine Slovenije.

Cilj druge etape je pri muzeju Stara Sava, od železniške postaje nadaljujemo do krožnega križiča, kjer prečkamo dva železna mosta posebej za pešce do Špara za cerkvijo pa zavijemo ostro desno in po 200m metrih smo na cilju.

Die Etappe führt aus Mojstrana durch das benachbarte Dovje und unter den Abhängen von Karawanke in die Eisenindustrie-Stadt Jesenice. Im letzten Teil verläuft die entlang dem alten Erzweg. Das Ende der Etappe ist am Stara Sava-Museum.

Die Etappe beginnt am Slowenischen Bergsteigermuseum, das an der Straße nach Vrata Tal liegt, wo der Ausgangspunkt für Aufstiege auf Triglav von der nördlichen Seite ist. Die Etappe verläuft größtenteils auf Schotterstraßen und Fahrwegen, im letzten Teil auf dem alten Erzweg. Vom Slowenischen Bergsteigermuseum in Mojstrana führt der Weg weiter ins Dorf Dovje. Die Dörfer Mojstrana und Dovje sind Geburtsorte zahlreicher slowenischer Alpinisten aus der Pionierzeit des Alpinismus und aus der Zeit nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg (die Eichhörnchen von Mojstrana – diese Alpinisten waren einst weit umher bekannt). Der Weg folgt am Anfang dem Weg Via Alpina, aber hinter dem Dorf Dovje zweigt er sich ab nach Osten nach Dovške ravne und weiter in die Richtung von Plavški und Jeseniški rovt über Jesenice.

Jesenice ist eine alte Eisenindustrie-Stadt. Das alte Eisenhüttenwerk wurde von einem neueren in Koroška Bela ersetzt, wo man noch immer verschiedene Eisen- und Stahlprodukte herstellt. Nach Jesenice bringt Sie der alte Erzweg (Stara rudna pot), auf welchem man fast 400 Jahre den Erz aus dem Bergwerk in Savske jame zu der Hammerwerk-Siedlung Stara Sava transportiert hat. In Stara Sava sind heute noch die Elemente der alten Hammerwerk-Siedlung erhalten.

Eine lange Etappe mit wenigen Punkten, wo Sie sich erholen und stärken können. Im ersten Teil steigt der Weg auf dem Waldweg bis zu Rogarjev rovt (500 Höhenmeter von Aufstieg aus Mojstrana). Bringen Sie einen Imbiss und genug Wasser, insbesondere in den Sommermonaten.

The stage runs from Mojstrana through Dovje and the foothills of the Karavanke to the ironworks city of Jesenice. In the last section, the trail runs along an ancient mining trail.

The stage starts at the Slovenian Alpine Museum that is located at the main road to the Vrata Valley, which is the starting point for climbing Triglav from the northern side. The stage mostly runs along unpaved roads and cart roads, and along an ancient mining trail in the last section. From the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana, the trail runs to Dovje. Jesenice is an old ironworks city.The old ironworks plant was replaced by a newer one in Koroška Bela, which still produces various iron and steel products. The trail along the ancient mining trail takes us to Jesenice. For almost 400 years, this trail was used to transport iron ore from the mines in Savske jame to the Stara Sava ironworks settlement which still has the elements of an old ironworks settlement.

Author’s recommendation

A long stage with few refreshment stops. In the first part, the trail ascends along a forest path to Rogarjev Rovt (a 500-metre ascent from Mojstrana). Bring lunch and plenty of water, especially in summer.
