NAJLEPŠE OHRANJENI ŽELEZNIŠKI MOST V MOJSTRANI,. THE BEST PRESERVED RAILWAY BRIDGE IN MOJSTRANA



14. 12. 1870 so odprli železniško povezavo med Trbižem in Ljubljano. Proga je Zgornjesavsko dolino povezala z svetom in močno pripomogla k razvoju turizma poleg tega pa je močno pripomogla tudi k promociji Planiških skokov in poletov. Progo je gradilo 12 000 delavcev. Za progo dolgo 102 km proge na kateri sta bila 2 predora in številni železni mostovi so delavci potrebovali 1 leto.

Eden najlepših mostov ki so še ohranjeni je prav tu na tej kolesarski progi. Med prvo svetovno vojno so železniško postajo v Kranski gori razširili za potrebo oskrbe na Soški fronti. 31. marca 1966 pa so progo ukinili in na ta dan je namreč še zadnjič prepeljal navijače v Planico pod Ponce in ni nikoli več prisopihal v te kraje.






The railway between Ljubljana in Tarvisio(Trbiž) was comleted and open on 14 December 1870. the line connected. The Upper Sava Walley with the world greatly contrybuting to delevelopment of moderen tourism in the area as well as begin instrumental in popurarising ski jumping and flying in Planica. It was built by up 12 00 workers, and the 102 kilometers long railway track  between Ljubljana and Tarvisio, including two tunnels and several railway bridges, took over one year to build.

This is where one of the best -preserved bridge scan be found. During World War 1 station in Kranjska Gora was expanded for purposes fort he Ionso Front, but in 1966, the line was unfortunately suspended. On the 31 March of that year , the last Planica fans boaded train in the Walley and, to many peoples dissapointment, the train has never stamped into part again.
